The short version: Use our platform honestly, pay your bill, and we'll do everything we said we would. If something goes wrong, our liability is capped at one month's fee. We're based in Illinois, so that's the law that applies. Any questions — just email us.
By using northstarinstall.com, signing up for any North Star OS service, or clicking "I agree" (or any equivalent) on a service agreement, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you're agreeing on behalf of a business, you represent that you have the authority to bind that business to these terms.
If you don't agree with these terms, don't use our services. We'd rather you know what you're agreeing to than discover it later.
We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of our services after an update means you've accepted the new terms. We'll update the effective date at the top of this page when changes are made.
North Star OS provides done-for-you revenue systems for service-based businesses. Our primary service is the Dead List Revival — a structured campaign built on the GoHighLevel (GHL) platform that reactivates past customers via SMS and email automation to generate booked jobs.
Services may include, depending on your selected plan:
North Star OS is built on GoHighLevel's infrastructure. We operate as an authorized GHL partner. The performance and availability of GHL's platform is outside our direct control, though we will work to resolve any platform issues that affect your service.
We reserve the right to modify, discontinue, or update any service features with reasonable notice. We'll never remove a feature you're actively relying on without giving you advance warning and the option to cancel.

Payment terms depend on your selected service:
If payment fails, we'll notify you and attempt to retry. If payment isn't resolved within 7 days, we may pause your service until it's settled. We don't want to do this — if you're having a problem, just reach out and we'll work something out.
Our guarantee: We will generate a minimum of 3 booked jobs from your Dead List Revival campaign within 90 days of launch — or you don't pay for the campaign fee.
This guarantee applies to the campaign fee only. Any setup fees, GHL subscription costs, or costs incurred prior to launch are not covered by this guarantee.
For the guarantee to apply, all of the following conditions must be met:
We pre-screen every client before accepting them. If we don't believe the guarantee conditions can be met, we'll tell you before you pay. We don't want unhappy clients — it's bad for everyone.
To invoke the guarantee, you must notify us in writing at hello@northstarinstall.com within 30 days of the 90-day campaign window closing.
You may not use North Star OS services to:
Violations may result in immediate service termination without refund and, where applicable, legal action.
North Star OS owns the platform. All campaign workflows, automation sequences, messaging frameworks, system architecture, website content, branding, and operational processes are the intellectual property of North Star OS. Using our services doesn't grant you ownership of any of it.
You own your data. Your customer list, your business information, and any data you bring into the platform belong to you. We use it only to operate your campaign. When your service ends, your data is yours to take with you. We will not retain, monetize, or share it.
If we create custom content specifically for your campaign (e.g., personalized SMS copy or email sequences), you have a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use that content for your business — but we retain the underlying framework and may use similar structures for other clients.
We build serious systems and we stand behind our work. That said, no one can guarantee every outcome in every market condition. Here's where we draw the line:
Our maximum liability to you for any claim arising from our services — whether in contract, tort, or any other legal theory — is limited to the amount you paid us in the most recent one-month billing period.
We are not liable for:
Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusion of incidental damages. If you're in one of those states, some of these limitations may not apply to you.
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of North Star OS services will be resolved in the courts of Illinois, or — if both parties agree — through binding arbitration under the American Arbitration Association's rules.
Before escalating any dispute legally, we ask that you email us first. We're a small, honest business and we'd much rather resolve things like adults.
