We use the information you provide to:

• Respond to your inquiry or calculator submission
• Contact you about North Star OS services that may be relevant to your business
• Send marketing emails about our products, offers, and resources (you can opt out any time)

We will never use your information for purposes that aren't related to running our business or serving you.

How We Store Your Data

Your data is stored and processed using the following trusted platforms:

• GoHighLevel (GHL) — our CRM and marketing automation platform. When you submit a form or calculator result, your information is stored in GoHighLevel. GHL is a U.S.-based company that operates under its own privacy and security policies.
• Netlify — the platform that hosts this website. Netlify may process standard web traffic data (like IP addresses and browser types) as part of normal hosting operations.

Both platforms use industry-standard security practices including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. We do not store your personal data in spreadsheets, unencrypted files, or any other insecure format.

We do not transfer your data internationally outside of the United States through our own processes. GoHighLevel and Netlify may operate infrastructure internationally — refer to their respective privacy policies for details.

How Long We Keep Your Data

We keep your data as long as it's relevant to our business relationship with you — or until you ask us to delete it.

In practice, this means:

• If you've been a customer or active lead, we may keep your record in our CRM while we have an ongoing relationship
• If you've opted out of all marketing, we'll retain only what's necessary to honor that opt-out
• If you request deletion, we'll remove your data from our active systems within 30 days

Some data may be retained longer if required by law (for example, financial records related to transactions).

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Opt out of marketing emails — every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Click it and you'll be removed from our list promptly.
• Request a copy of your data — email us at hello@northstarinstall.com and we'll tell you what we have on file.
• Request deletion — ask us to delete your data and we'll do it within 30 days, subject to any legal retention requirements.
• Correct inaccurate information — if something we have on file is wrong, let us know and we'll fix it.
• Withdraw consent — if you've consented to any processing and change your mind, you can withdraw that consent at any time.

California residents: Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have additional rights including the right to know what personal information we've collected, the right to deletion, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. Cookies

We use minimal cookies on this site. We don't run tracking pixels, retargeting ads, or behavioral analytics.

Netlify, our hosting provider, may set technical cookies necessary for the site to function — these are not used for advertising or tracking purposes.

If you embed a Calendly booking widget, Calendly may set its own cookies. Refer to Calendly's privacy policy for details on their practices.

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar advertising trackers on this site.

Children's Privacy

Our services are designed for business owners and are not directed to anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
